⊙ On the road again ⊙

Think of this as my come back tour.

Thanks for coming over...

My desk this week and it's in London at the moment. There is a new studio being built behind the hedge and it's so exciting and time consuming and I have had to retreat from the chaos. I can see a tree from the window here and a church spire and there are birds that chirrup away all night as the lights don't seem to go out. Ever. So, still the birds sing for me as I potter around...even though I am in the heart of the city.

This was me being blown around by the wind in Cape Town this time last year.
This year it's a much breezier and colder winter.
I hope you are all safe, warm and dry despite the weather battles...

The photo below was the beach at Muizenberg, Cape Town, also this time last year. That's not the sun, it's a full moon. Amazingly. What a place...I've got so many stories and sketches and photographs.  I got full up to the brim with ideas when I was there, now I am fruiting them, growing them into reality.

I'm not going to go into a monologue about where I've been (just busy alright?)  I want to get back to posting my work on here as it is a great record for me to look back. And however wonderful crammed my head is with STUFF, being a creative is sometimes incredibly isolating. If anyone is still out there, then HELLO... IT'S GREAT TO SEE YOU.

Here's an anemone, it made me happy.
My mum had them as her wedding bouquet and I've always loved them.

I'm going to be back very soon.

I love your blog, so pleased to see more :)) Those beach huts are wonderful; they and the rolling surf make me pine for the pebble beaches and crumbling huts of my childhood home. It made me smile
