ø Garden and Cosmos ø

I went to the British Museum to see "Garden and Cosmos" {The Royal Paintings of Jodhpur}. It had all my fave ingredients, India, gardens and spirituality. I loved it and highly recommend it. Ever since I can't help but see all the plants and trees where I live as lovely graphic shapes and colours. I've been doodling on postcards which I tried to scan but the colours were all wrongwrongwrong so here's a little view from my desk this morning.

At the ripe old age of 45 I need glasses, the last few weeks have seen me peering at details and feeling fuzzy. So, I have taken the bull by the horns and booked an eye test. Eeeek, I'm a real coward, I don't like these sort of things but I have to be able to see. I'm threading the needle on my sewing machine using a magnifying glass and whilst I think it would be quaint to just utilise the magnifying glass as a new accessory it's just not going to be practical. I think I'm going to be entering a whole new world.

I am sure glasses will suit you wonderfully and don't be scared!! You can pretend you are a character out of Blade Runner when the optician makes you look through all the different lenses.

yes, don't worry, embrace it, you can get a super-chic pair (maybe in lime green, eh?) and all will be dandy.

those postcards look full of colour and life. will they be making an appearance in the shop - i'd love one.

hope you'll call in on me again soon?
