Oh, I nearly fell off my chair,  I am on the front page of Etsy.

I'm just having a gleeful moment of glee

{And that's almost a poem}

I am attempting to get all my new things on there

this week. It's all been building up for quite some time.

It takes ages as you all know, the right images, the right photographic conditions,

writing copy, working out shipping.

Then, there's also the cooking, washing, getting drunk,

snoozing, shopping, painting, drawing, talking that I have to fit in anyway.

And that's just the weekends.

This is not a complaint,

just a statement of facts.

I wouldn't swop places with anyone.

Except maybe someone with alabaster smooth hands?

Me and Madonna? our hands give it away.

Wrapped up with love {in more ways than one}

I was pleasantly surprised to get my first customer, I'm sure it's a fluke but I'll wait and see.

It's fun though, a bit like playing shops.

Meanwhile there are books to be made and life to be lived. 

Thanks for all your messages of support, 

it can be a bit lonely at this desk and it feels so nice to be part of a community.
